Retail Engagement & Marketing (REM) is a diverse and multi-disciplinary organization. We are marketers, strategists, creatives, producers and program managers whose role it is to help Apple Retail care for our customers and elevate our teams. We build insights, experiences and programs all in service of bringing together the very best of Apple to help us reach more people, grow our business, and enrich lives. This role leads the worldwide Strategy and Programming team within REM. Responsibilities include for the overall strategic and editorial direction of customer and team engagement, and integrated marketing programs and initiatives for Apple Retail, spanning Today At Apple, seasonal campaigns and new product introductions, through to day-to-day and tentpole moments for Apple. This Senior Director influences the activities of multiple global functional areas, divisions, products groups and service areas. Influencing SVPs, VPs, Senior Directors, directors and senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful direction and operation of those areas.
Key Qualifications
- 20+ years demonstrated experience in developing customer and employee engagement strategies, and well-rounded marketing leadership experience with experience across all facets of marketing for global Retailers and brands
- Ability to exchange or impart information with the goal to promote intra-functional within Retail and cross-functional collaboration across Apple. This includes ability to influence decisions without authority - listen, challenge and commit
- Understanding of data analytics to provide meaningful data visualization, trend analysis and scenarios/financial modelling
- Track record leading large global multi-disciplinary, high-performance, healthy teams.
- Lead market leading strategic approaches from ideation to implementation
- Highly collaborative role and skilled in getting work done through others
- Navigate complex work, problem-solve, and collaborate with local and global partners
- Experienced in balancing multiple priorities, partners and work streams across geographies and business groups
- Skilled in aligning priorities, assessing needs and directing messaging
- Nimble business mind with a focus on leading creative solutions and understanding of Retail priorities
- Knowledge of global business operating environments
- Proactively grows and mentors, shares knowledge, and invests in helping others increase their capabilities and efficiency
- Innovative storytelling and presentation skills

Description
With the breadth of reach across Apple Retail's programs and campaigns, you will activate an important lever to help Apple bring its values of sustainability, accessibility, privacy, inclusion and diversity - to our customers and employees. You'll manage a team of leaders for Strategic and Editorial Planning, Campaigns, content initiatives, Retail Brand Marketing, Customer Engagement Marketing. These include Today At Apple and Creative Studios, Internal Communication and Learning and Development, working together to craft and share the stories that enrich the lives of both our customers and teams. The role requires a deep understanding of Apple Retail's goals, customer and commercial insights, and Marketing and operations. It mandates deep knowledge and thought leadership. Identifying what it takes to engage and market to people in an increasingly complex world, where customers' choices are infinite, and they face a plethora of messages, propositions and experiences every minute of every day. To be successful you will also need to drive collaboration with their counterparts in REM as well as key cross functional and GEO partners to ensure we can deliver to Apple highest standards, globally and at speed.
Education & Experience
BS/BA a plus or equivalent experience.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $321,500.00 and $514,700.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
