Job Description
The Senior Director, Real-World Evidence Lead reports to the Executive Director and Head of Real-World Evidence. Kite recently announced a partnership with Arcellx on launching the latter's very promising ddBCMA CART in Multiple Myeloma (MM). You will be the RWE Franchise Lead for MM and will work with Arcellx and our Kite partners in developing and implementing RWE strategy and plan to support key filing and HTA submission activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement RWE strategies and plans for MM franchise
- Lead and support key data generation activities in the assigned therapeutic area
- Strategic and tactical support for cross-functional RWE development including registries, burden of Illness/natural history of disease for regulators, payers, and clinicians
- Rotating member of non-interventional study protocol review groups
- Assess research gaps and goals across key partners and disease areas to determine proactive RWE/observational research strategy in the assigned area
- Possess superb communication skills, advanced customer experience, comprehensive understanding of strategies to translate observational research methods and results to diverse audiences
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholder expectations regarding strategic objectives and implementation of research
- Partner with clinical development, regulatory affairs, safety, Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical affairs, and Global Marketing to ensure extensive value proposition and integrated evidence plans are optimized to support filing and reimbursement
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate Degree and 10+ years of observational research study management or data analytics experience
OR
Master's Degree and 12+ years of observational research study management or data analytics experience
OR
Bachelor's Degree and 14+ years of observational research study management or data analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare environment, preferably pharmaceutical industry or related consulting services, sufficient to have developed a deep understanding of drug development
- Demonstrated experience in working in matrix organizations and leading peers is a key expectation for this role
- Knowledge and understanding of drug development process MM therapy area in particular
- Pharmaceutical business leadership, including experience in strategy development and interaction with customers
- Familiarity with strategic and operating planning processes
- Thorough understanding of the 21st Century Cures Act and the opportunities for use of RWE to inform regulatory decision makers
- Advanced knowledge in observational research design
- Excellent interpersonal communication and study management skills
- Ability to take detailed observational study results and communicate them in a clear, non-technical manner to internal cross-functional teams, using language that resonates with the teams, while maintaining the integrity of key findings
- Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environment

Colorado Job Applicants: The salary range for this position is:
$228,320.00 - $342,480.00
Kite considers a range of factors, including background and experience, when determining base compensation. These considerations means actual compensation will vary.
