Senior Director of Procurement

Location: Tampa, FL
A leading beverage distributor is in search of a Senior Director of Procurement in the Tampa Florida area. They are actively looking to aggressively expand their operations and as the division leader, you will be developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize costs, increase efficiency, and support business growth objectives.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Director of Procurement:
- Lead a team in procurement strategies and methods that optimize the operational costs for the company.
- Manage the procurement budget and record cost saving / performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, Legal, and Operations, to ensure alignment of Procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
- Continuously Identify and implement methods which enhance and advance cost efficiency and inventory supply.
- Ensure departmental compliance with company policy, ethics, and legal.
Key requirements of the Senior Director of Procurement include:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience preferred, with a resume of implementation of innovative solutions and cost-positive orders.
- Experience with procurement systems and tools, such as contract-negotiations, sourcing, and budgeting analytic.
- Strong negotiation skills required, with the ability to work with others collaboratively and effectively.
- Leadership / Managerial experience necessary for this position.
