The Senior Digital Designer will work closely with the digital team and other cross functional partners, as well as with the Design Director and Head of Global Creative to drive brand storytelling, brand consistency, best-in-class execution, and innovation across digital channels. Reporting into the Design Director, the Senior Designer plays a key role in the expression and championing of the brand globally across digital channels with an emphasis on social media and content.
This is a highly collaborative role, partnering with Digital, Editorial, Brand Creative, Education, and Product Marketing. The ideal candidate is proactive and organized, with a strong bias for action, an eye for detail, and a desire to push and elevate digital brand expression while driving business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute digital design needs for web and social media, with a clear focus on delivering web pages for the redesign of the product details and product listing page templates on opi.com, as well as the launch of a brand-new section of the site to communicate our love of the product and the brand to nail professionals.
- Collaborate closely with internal hubs and cross functional partners such as Editorial, Digital Marketing, Education, Product Marketing, Brand Creative, and Creative Operations.
- Produce digital design for emails, homepage, categories, landing pages.
- Conceptualize and produce digital design for e-retail, Amazon A+ content, ecommerce, social media, providing best-in-class conversion content and brand consistency across digital touchpoints.
- Responsible for designs from receipt of wireframes to cross-functional delivery rounds and final inceptions
- Communicates and works closely with cross-functional team members to produce on-brand design assets that support business objectives and marketing goals.
- Support in project needs which include potential assistance on last-minute in-house shoots and imagery post-editing.
- Where relevant may be responsible for design communications with digital agency working on web development project.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of work experience in digital design
- Excellent organization skills: self-directed, extremely detail oriented and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to tight and demanding deadlines
- Driving Excellence - Ability to understand and champion OPI brand, maintain brand guidelines, design in a mobile-first/digital-first mindset, drive execution against business goals in all digital touchpoints.
- Creative – You are a beauty enthusiast and a social media junkie who stays on top of trends and pop culture and understands how and when to deploy references and can collaborate with Digital and Social partners in driving relevance and love for the OPI brand.
- Collaborative - Ability to work seamlessly with Editorial, Digital Marketing, Education, Product Marketing, Brand Creative, and Creative Operations.
- Fluency in social media and channel specific trends and best practices.
- Hands on ability in social content creation, in particular in dynamic content, animation, motion graphics, video editing, photo and video creation with an elevated social-first aesthetic sensibility.
- Able to execute against business goals in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Expert knowledge of digital design, UX, UI, front-end development, and design principles and design tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud apps, XD, Figma, and Sketch
- Proficiency and understanding in the principles of front end design, coding, CSS, and platform-specific considerations across web, email, social media, and 3rd party retail platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong photo retouching skills and photography is a plus
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $70,000 - $80,000 salary per year.
