We are seeking a talented and detail oriented Senior SolidWorks Designerto support our growing team of engineers in the release of novel Class III active implantable devices.
Key Qualifications:
Education: Associates Decgree
Five plus years of experience in equipment/maching design in SolidWorks
Ability to generate complex 100+ component assembly drawings
Develop BOMs for release in a quality management system
In-depth understanding of PDM, and ability to become a system admin
Ability to work with cross-functional teams within iota to generate drawings for system release
Excellent writing and communication skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks provided
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with SolidWorks teams to develop PDM work-flows and CAD modeling best practices
Medical device experience preferred
In-depth understanding of GD&T and its application in mechanical drawings
Ability to generate solid model concepts from scratch
Basic understanding of Master Modeling and management of CAD references
