Job Description
As our Senior Data / Automation Expert, you will be the driving force behind enhancing data availability, transparency, and automation within our business unit Headquarter functions. You will partner and collaborate with the Product Management (40%), Engineering (30%), and Finance (30%) functions to optimize processes and serve as the link between our corporate Process Excellence group and business unit requirements for key projects. Your role will focus exclusively on projects not in the corporate roadmap allowing you the freedom to make a real impact. You will be the mastermind behind enhancing data availability and transparency, using your expertise to create customized solutions that automate tasks like never before. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a deep dive into the world of Power BI Cloud analytics, delivering insights that will empower our BU leadership functions, including Product Management, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Work closely with various cross-functional teams, turning their needs into automation and reporting use cases. You'll be the go-to person for streamlining processes.
- Manage and maintain user authorization concepts for automation tools, ensuring data security while driving efficiency.
- Harness your Excel wizardry to create complex data models that will support various product segments.
- Identify and fix bugs in the engineering time reporting system, ensuring it aligns perfectly with SAP reporting.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Financial Reporting team to transfer local projects for global implementation, connecting our business unit to the broader Bosch vision.
- Play a pivotal role in data/cloud-related critical projects and initiatives for the business unit, driving innovation and progress.
- Prepare engaging presentations for management, showcasing your insights and the impact of your work.

- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, automation, or a related field, with a history of delivering results.
- Proven experience in implementing Power BI Cloud projects, turning data into insights.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, combined with expertise in data visualization tools, machine learning libraries, and automation platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Power Query.
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP and BI system.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Knowledge of automation tools like Automation Anywhere or Alteryx, or similar applications is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Must be a strong collaborator, operate with resilience, perseverance, and ability to partner with international/global cross-functional teams.
- Ability to take an analytical, results-oriented, and structured approach to work.
