What you do:

You will focus on driving one of the most important change topics – the data quality management – of AIM US. As part of this, you will have the full accountability of operationalizing and modelling the current status and designing methods, processes and a stable future target picture to increase data quality in many regions within AIM as well as working on the data quality issue backlog and implementing permanent solutions to avoid errors from happening again.  You will report to the AIM AVP - Head of Middle Office.

-          Guide the design and ongoing maintenance of data standards and data quality standards. Ensure data is meeting data quality standards and following Data Governance standards. Integrate best practices, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress into data management project

-          Work on the submitted data quality issues, implementing permanent solutions in collaboration with the business partners by fixing the root cause by establishing new controls, checks, and processes in close collaboration with the business (process owner and Operational Risk Management)

-          Facilitates development of data flows and documentation of control

-          Provides support around critical information and how it is used for business processing within the organization

-          Capture requirements and supporting business in working with IT to mitigate risks and solve issues

-          Prepare data quality KPI dashboards and regular communication to Senior Management and partners

-          Continue implementing and strengthening execution of Data Governance framework

-          Involved in discussions with Allianz Group Centers (AIM, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Accounting and Reporting) about reporting requirements (i.e. CARL) and shaping them

-          Understand the needs of data user (e.g. Front Office, CRM) and implementing solutions to provide them with accurate and controlled data in an automated fashion

  

What you bring:

-          2+ years of experience with business experience in Investment Operations (processes, systems such as PAM, Aladdin) and Accounting/Risk, understanding processes in an investment / (life) insurance firm

-          Experienced with implementing a Data Governance framework and software (e.g. Informatica Axon/Enterprise Data Catalog, Collibra Data Governance Center)

-          Four year degree required or equivalent work experience
