We are growing quickly in North America and are adding to our account leadership team. Our ideal candidate will, at minimum, be a Client partner conversant in customer loyalty strategies and solutions and plugged into the loyalty marketplace. The candidate will be capable of engaging senior to C-suite client stakeholders across a broad range of industries. Particular attention will be paid to candidates with experience in Retail, Travel, Hospitality, Restaurants, and Manufacturing/CPG. The Account Director role will be a remote working role within the US.
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Consumer Insights Analytics team.
A Data Analyst is expected to be comfortable working with relational databases to provide actionable business insights. This may require manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources. Additionally, this position may be responsible for some data science projects, such as predictive models for audience targeting.
You will quickly be empowered to own projects as you work alongside the analytic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a) Passion for solving difficult business problems using quantitative data-driven methods; b) Keen interest in communicating complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner; c) Strong understanding of the ‘scientific method’ and its role in gathering business insights and supporting decision making; d) Acumen for creating dashboards and reports that tell a story to our clients, delivering business intelligence designs that allow end users maximum flexibility in specifying their own parameters and requirements; and e) The ability to work independently throughout the process from requirements gathering to delivering results. f) Work experience with the health care or insurance industries is a plus.
Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in an analytics role
- 2+ years of work experience with querying relational databases (e.g. SQL)
- 1+ year of work experience with one or more analytical software platforms (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R, or open source data mining tools such as Python).
- Work experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Passion for answering difficult business questions with quantitative data-driven methods.
- Ability to communicate complex analytic results in a clear and visually appealing manner.
- Aptitude to strike the right balance between quantitative methodology and providing timely answers to business questions.
- Competency in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying data sources, including relational and unstructured data warehouses.
- Degree in a relevant quantitative field preferred (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research or social sciences)
- We will also consider relevant coursework/experience demonstrative of aptitude for inferential data analysis.
- Minneapolis area candidates preferred
Responsibilities
- Answer business questions by using the appropriate methodology with available data.
- Recommend analytic approaches to make data-driven decisions.
- Interpret the results of analyses and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely within a cross-functional environment that includes internal stakeholders (Consumer Insights, Strategy, and Client Success functions) as well as external clients/stakeholders.
- Develop ‘best practices’ for answering frequently raised business questions.
