Our Human Resources department is seeking a Senior Onboarding Coordinator to assist with the full-cycle new hire onboarding process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the development and refining of new hire onboarding process including the ordering, reviewing, and analysis of background checks
- Serve as main point of contact for collection of pre-employment documents. contracts and obtain proper signatures on upfront loans
- Oversee, perform and track onboarding data entry into Ultipro system and Excel
- Order pre-clearance reports for registered representatives
- Connect with managers for all matters requiring escalation related to onboarding, orientation, IT requisitions, and supply orders
- Verify I-9 documents, prepare and send welcome materials to all new hires, and conduct new hire orientations and facility tours for all new hires
- Compile, maintain and audit employee files to remain compliant with HR laws
- Create and prepare onboarding and recruiting reports and policies, including management committee reporting
- Maintain onboarding and recruiting forms to be current and compliant with state and federal laws
- Create innovative procedures to boost engagement among our existing employees and new hires
- Participate in on-campus/virtual recruiting events, including attending all career fairs where light travel is required
- Assist with college internship program, and rotational entry level program
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited university required, preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources, Communication, or similar focus preferred
- 1-2 years experience in HR, preferably in recruiting or onboarding capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across various levels and departments
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization (experience interacting at a senior level with business management teams a plus)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently
- Ability to pay close attention to details while focusing on seeing tasks through to completion
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
- Experience working with Ultipro highly desirable
What Wedbush Offers You
The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000-$75,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance. At Wedbush, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
