Job description

Higharc is a VC-backed startup that is changing how new homes are designed and built. Join a founding team who've shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple.
We are looking for a rockstar individual to lead our Content and Product Marketing efforts at Higharc. As part strategist, part creator, you'll lean on your proven expertise to spearhead GTM efforts and develop exceptional messaging and content campaigns that resonate with production homebuilders.
You love using a mix of written, visual, and video mediums to bring products and brands to life in a way that drives growth for the business. In this highly cross-functional role, you'll focus on working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing as a bridge between our product innovation and customers' needs to help build our brand and drive qualified pipeline for maximum business impact.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy and campaigns across channels and mediums that drives key growth metrics and positions Higharc as a distinctive brand in the industry.
  • Content Production: Own and produce a wide-range of content types that extend far beyond the traditional blog posts: tools, interactive web experiences, resource libraries, video, live and virtual events, and more, case studies, higharc.com, product graphics, sales decks, and more.
  • SEO and Analytics: Implement best practices to drive traffic and engagement and monitor performance; employ research techniques to develop content that resonates with builders.
  • Creative Project Management: Lead project management efforts for our creative work within Marketing across events, demand gen, Product Marketing, social, etc. in close collaboration with marketing team members.
  • Product Collaboration and Messaging: Work with Product to refine our messaging to resonate deeply with homebuilders and stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Product Storytelling: Create exceptional content using your great sense of design and industry insights for key inbound channels such as our higharc.com website, blogs, webinars, videos, guides, etc.) that showcases our product's unique value propositions and functionality for homebuilders.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Sales to create impactful resources and collateral that effectively communicate the technical aspects and benefits of our product, specifically tailored to the construction industry.
  • Market Research and Insights: Develop a profound understanding of the construction technology landscape, bringing industry-specific insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform our strategy.

What'll you need to succeed:
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in technology, must-have startup experience either B2B/B2C, SaaS background strongly preferred
  • A demonstrated interest in design, home construction, and the tech advancements in building. You see the value of what we do and how Higharc can help builders transform how they build and grow; direct experience in building sciences, architecture, or construction technology is a big plus
  • Track record of growing and engaging audiences through impactful content marketing; background in ABM campaigns is ideal
  • Phenomenal writing, editing, and creation skills: you have experience writing or creating content with tools like Canva, Figma, modern video apps, etc.
  • Be a great storyteller: Ability to simplify complex technical information into engaging, understandable stories and content for diverse audiences.
  • Technical expertise; you should be well versed in modern tooling like SEMrush (or similar) and know how to optimize for everything from efficiency to SEO
  • An owner mentality; taking initiative is second-nature and you see the big picture but don't miss the details with a hands-on approach to build externally-facing assets and internal deliverables
  • Skilled in market research and deriving actionable insights from data with a drive to measure and improve
  • The ability to lead cross-functional groups to collaborate, organize, and execute high-quality, multi-channel projects end-to-end
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • An analytical approach; you love to test and learn, lean on strong analytical skills to experiment, make decisions, and improve based on data insights
  • Ideally, a grasp of architectural design, home construction processes, and/or building technologies
