Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Manager - Communications & Marketing, Strategic Partnerships.
In this role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of NYULHs external brand strategy. This position will be an innovative and motivated partnerships strategist who can take ownership of a world-class brand, ensuring it comes to life through strategic and influential partnerships. Additionally, this position will be responsible for sponsorships and integration efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Brand Ecosystems Lead (Director), this leadership role collaborates closely with the broader Brand, Experience, Creative & Design team to strategically develop meaningful and lasting partnerships with influential organizations. The Strategic Partnerships Strategic Manager will strengthen existing partnerships and identify opportunities to expand NYULH’s brand and influence. This individual will successfully execute strategies aligned with the Brand Ecosystem Lead’s priorities and the broader Brand, Experience, Creative & Design team’s vision.
Brand Partnerships Strategy:
- Shape the strategic direction of the NYULH brand with external audiences, weaving it throughout the health system in alignment with institutional goals
- Implement sponsorship strategies that augment and transform public perceptions about the brand
- Build and maintain relationships with external partnerships that have committed to advance the NYULH brand
- Serve as the day-to-day relationship manager with external partnerships by providing them with the support they need to successfully advance the NYULH brand
- Work effectively to quickly understand, manage, and resolve service line issues and/or pain points related to external partner needs
- Lead the implementation of and programming for the Brand Ambassador program, ensuring external and internal partners are equipped with the most updated brand identity guidelines and standards
- Develop training and educational programming to educate external partners on brand guidelines, ensuring a thorough understanding of brand identity, messaging, and proper usage
- Instill governance to enable and monitor external partners’ compliance to brand standards
- Support efforts to measure, analyze, and report brand performance against predetermined metrics
Collaboration:
- Participate in the development and implementation of the broader Brand, Experience, Creative & Design team’s strategy, collaborating with leaders to drive volume and reputational impact with external partnerships
- Collaborate closely with marketing counterparts and interdepartmental teams to elevate strategic brand capabilities, leveraging insights, digital platforms, and innovation across the health system
Operational Excellence:
- Contribute to updates on assignments, progress, and associated metrics as included on a master editorial calendar
- Leverage media tracking tools to measure and define success compared to other institutions in specialty areas
- Champion NYULH’s strong culture of continuous improvement and ensure deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes
- Efficiently and effectively execute goals and priorities while adhering to organizational standards for delivering excellent work
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a 5+ years of experience in brand strategy or marketing leadership
Experience in building brand strategies and engaging diverse partnerships with sound business judgement
Proactive and organized, with a willingness to pursue new leads for potential partnerships while maintaining existing relationships
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage complex, matrixed efforts and multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply and communicate data-driven insights
Exceptional leadership and teaming skills, demonstrating the ability to influence, motivate, and collaborate effectively
Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the healthcare industry
Bilingualism is an asset (Spanish/English)

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $76,721.84 - $127,869.56 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
