Position Overview
The Manager, N. America Communications & Brand Events must be able to think strategically while also being hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of the agreed upon strategy with a focus on clients, people and brand desirability. They will be open and approachable and will work with both the central team and the local teams in a transparent, united and mutually supportive manner. The Manager, N. Key Accountabilities
Create the Dream: Drive Brand Desirability Score Increase vs. Benchmark. Lead activation workstreams with goal of building regional brand buzz and performance
- Develop innovative and impactful ways to activate in key focus cities
- Brand Campaigns: amplify via headline-grabbing activations across region
- Product launches: Knot (2021), Lock (2022)
- Pop Ups: West Village Holiday Pop Up, 2023 NA Brand Exhibition
- Store Reopenings: Copley, NY Flagship
- Collaborations: Daniel Arsham, Advent calendar, 2022 artistic collabs, Sotheby’s partnership
Partner with PR colleagues to improve Tiffany's DMR results via executing Brand Events and activations with impact that drive buzz and desirability across both US and Canada
- Maintain #1 in Social
- Maintain #1 in Digital
- Improve Print position
Support RVP via overall NA Comms Team Strategy :
- Support development of regional communications strategy
- Represent region in cross-functional forums
- Own regional communications calendar
Budget : own NAAdvertising Other budget throughout yearlong process
Connectivity : drive team building and morale through organizing steady cadence of team activities
D&I : drive and lift brand's Diversity & Inclusion Strategy via ERG leadership role
Qualifications
- Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred and min. of 10 years’ experience
- Candidates should have experience with or expertise in luxury or retail marketing and the poise and manner to represent Tiffany & Co. both internally and externally
- Strong understanding of communication & marketing channels as well as current luxury landscape
- Passion for innovation & creative communications; desire to lead brand through transformation and drive regional brand buzz and desirability
- Ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and agency stakeholders
- Willing to travel to support regional activations as needed (minimal)
- Candidate will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, service oriented, collaborative, flexible, works under pressure, adapts easily to change, problem-solving ability, creative thinking, have a commitment to innovation and an appreciation of style and design Technical Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required (PowerPoint and Excel specifically)
The hiring range for this position ranges from $56 - $79 an hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
