This position provides consultative and marketing/business analytical support to client clubs and partners. It is a multifaceted position that requires marketing expertise in multiple business areas (travel, insurance, financial services, retail, CRM, and membership) and technical knowledge of data analysis methodologies (segmentation, customer journey mapping, business intelligence, geospatial analysis, and customer metric development).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative marketing/business intelligence support to client clubs and partners on the development, management and deployment of custom analytical projects
- Serves as client expert for customer analytics, segmentation, multi-channel journeys, use of Predictive Intelligence, advanced analytics, CRM and business intelligence. Must work effectively with all organizational levels (marketing practitioners, business analyst, middle management and senior leadership).
- Provide leadership and strategic planning in developing information-based marketing/business initiatives for client clubs and partners. Requires single or cross-business line integration of transaction-based data (travel, insurance, financial services, POS, membership, etc.).
- Create channel optimization strategies to drive the right message to the right customer at the right time.
- Develop execution plans for client initiatives including requirement definition, timelines, testing, measurements, and production roll-out.
- Support clubs during program execution including results review, interpretation, and reporting on findings; or collaborate with outside providers on behalf of clubs or National departments on analytic deliverables.
- Scope and execute analytical projects for client clubs and partners.
- Develop and execute custom analytic and modeling projects using advanced analytical tools and techniques.
- Perform geo-spatial analysis to provide insight into resource usage around branch locations, fleet utilization, and optimal sites for customer interactions like travel shows or driving school locations.
- Develop and execute member value analytics like lifetime value, MRM index, or member net present value.
- Perform product and purchase usage analysis to identify highly targeted groups for club initiatives within a single or across multi-business area (travel, financial services, aaa.com, retail, membership, etc)
- Develop new customer club relationships or additional relationships with existing customer clubs or National Office departments by assessing needs and recommending solutions available through the Action Center. (10%)
- Analytical services: Identify enhanced analytical or additional consulting services to improve client performance or strengthen business initiatives.
- Data management services: Identify new data sources or increase the refresh frequency of data.
- MRM Technology: Identify opportunities to add value by leveraging Action Center Tools like Member Engagement Platform, DirectFocus, Connect Suite, ESRI, or Modeler.

- Document and collect best client practices that can be leveraged to drive learnings to other clients and the Association.
- Identify and document club best practices regarding business line marketing tactics
- Facilitate best practice sharing between clubs.
- Participate in planning and executing events like conferences and other business meetings.
- Develop turn-key execution templates that enable clients to implement other clients' best practices easily.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative analysis, marketing, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in database marketing analysis, preferably with a multi-channel retailer.
- 2+ years experience in e-marketing platforms (preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Prior work experience using advanced data mining tools like SAS SPSS and querying large amounts of data from data warehouses using SQL.
Hiring Range:
- $65,147 - $81,000
- Position eligible for participation in AAA, Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
