Position Details
Salary Range: $95,000-$120,000 a year depending on experience and education. This is a full-time exempt, 100% remote position with an estimated start date in March 2024.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will have a background as a Business Analyst. The primary responsibilities are listed below:
- Help lead project kick-offs and scoping sessions to ensure backlogs are in line with project scope
- Elicit requirements in order to document as user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Facilitate refinement meetings with scrum team to get shared understanding of the work to be done and the problem being solved
- Create process flow diagrams and other models to illustrate requirements
- Lead sessions with UI UX team to build out wireframes
- Serve as point of contact with our external stakeholders for requirements approval and confirm sprint demos meet expedited outcomes
- Partner with Project Manager to prioritize work based on project milestones and understand the value/ROI for the features
- Partner with Project Manager to create documentation including release notes, monthly reports, and project documents
- Able to work in fast paced, dynamic environment to capture real-time documentation and next steps as meeting outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders on the impact of changing requirements and deadlines
- Actively participate in scrum ceremonies to clarify requirements and confirm stakeholder requirements are delivered.
- Monitor project management software to resolve comments and priorities
Education, Certifications and Clearance:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree is required.
Applicants selected must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for, at minimum, Secret access to classified information. Strongly prefer candidates with an active Secret clearance upon application.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have 4-10+ years of experience in the following areas:
- At least 4 years of experience creating and managing backlogs
- Strong understanding of how to deliver iterative value in a maturing agile environment
- Extensive knowledge of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle
- Ability to create process flow diagrams
- Proficiency in project management tools/software and Microsoft 365
- Excellent written, verbal communication and team-oriented skills
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail, ability to manipulate various sizes of data with accuracy, identify trends, and provide concise and actionable recommendations
- Experience collaborating with development teams, UI/UX teams, stakeholders, and program management to identify and address risks and resolve impediments
- Demonstrated multi-tasking ability, problem solving skills and a consistent record of on time delivery and customer service
- Green field software project experience
- Experience leading kickoffs
- Exhibit a strong understanding of technical concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one certification in Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Experience supporting DoD customers
- Product Owner experience

This position requires is not expected to travel.
