Senior Business Analyst - Revenue Management

Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics products and consulting services firm that gives clients unmatched speed to value through analytics solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking candidates for a Senior Business Analyst for our Business Consulting Services team.

A Senior Business Analyst will have the opportunity to work independently to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills, solve complex problems, and communicate your findings. You will be responsible for leading workstreams or projects to successfully delivery.

Responsibilities:

Actively contribute to client consulting engagements consisting of both custom and packaged analytics solutions by

• Structuring ambiguous business problems and supporting data analysis, data visualization, and project management
• Developing hypothesis-driven analysis plan and conducting data analysis to drive strategic recommendations
• Collecting and reviewing available information to make data-driven business decisions and recommendations
• Building the foundation for the project by capturing the business context: the problem, current state, desired future state, business needs, and success criteria
• Developing a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users and technical teams to define technical and process requirements
• Leading project management activities and defining the appropriate deliverables throughout the project
• Collaborating with the client team and cross-functional Kaizen team members including data scientists and software developers
• Working directly with the Revenue Management teams
• Providing Change management, training, documentation, and dashboard creation
• Focusing on change management application usage via Revenue Management and ERP replacement
• Supporting project management using JIRA
• Leading workstreams or projects, while working under the guidance of senior leadership

• Ensure change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team
• Cultivate effective relationships and credibility with client partners

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 3-6 years of related work experience in business intelligence, business analytics, management consulting, process improvement, or related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of consulting experience required
  • Revenue Management experience required
  • Change Management experience preferred
  • Experience with analytical models (e.g. forecasting, elasticity, etc.)
  • Experience in Travel & Hospitality industries is a plus
• Education: Bachelor's degree required; Masters of Analytics or MBA is preferred
• Core Skills: Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills, mindset of own it all the way, project management & knowledge of agile methodology
• Tools: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Good working knowledge of Data Visualization tools (Tableau - preferred or Power BI) and JIRA; Familiarity with SQL preferred
• Travel required; must be able to travel internationally
