What to expect
The business Analytics & Strategy team’s mission is to enable a data-driven business and supercharge growth across our portfolio of companies. This newly designed team is responsible for providing insights to department leaders, and identifying revenue generating, cost-cutting, and ways to optimize service fulfillment. The team directly supports leaders from our retail locations and the executive team of shared services at LFC. The business Analytics & Strategy team will also oversee due diligence for all new brand acquisitions.

What you will do
- Work with Analytics & Strategy partners to deepen our understanding of consumers and inform communication, product, experience, marketing, and media strategies based on data-driven insights leveraging innovative, cutting-edge analytic tools to support and drive growth across all aspects of our business
- Contribute to all stages of the business analytics & strategy process: translating a complex business problem into a data engineering, data analysis, business intelligence roadmap, and interacting with key stakeholders
- Contribute to the company’s data strategy: the tech stack, data infrastructure & architecture, and governance
- Lead customer analytics and insights including overseeing customer health/ development tracking, Acquisition and Retention tracking/forecasting, customer segment profiling, market trends analysis, competitive intelligence, and ad hoc comprehensive customer analytics projects to inform strategic planning across the organization
- Oversee Analytics & Strategy partners in developing and maintaining complex pipelines & databases for all business units, cleaning data, and building models
- Direct ad-hoc customer analytic requests across the organization and deliver actionable data-driven customer insights to key stakeholders, including senior leaders, utilizing analytical toolsets including but not limited to SQL, Python, Power BI, Snowflake, 3rd party tools and more
- Contribute to the production of all weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
- Interact with stakeholders, including but not limited to: field leaders, C-suite, private equity, board of advisors, potential acquisitions
- Act as the primary liaison with 3rd party software providers for all things data
- Co-lead the data room for due diligence of all potential acquisitions
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a quantitative role in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership in data analytics, performance marketing analytics, data strategy development, and business intelligence implementation, with effective communication skills at the executive level.
- Proven track record of managing databases, interpreting and translating raw data into insightful recommendations - transforming analytics into compelling narratives that drive business decisions
- Deep and Extensive experience in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI or similar)
- Experience with Snowflake, writing advanced SQL Queries, and hands-on experience in at least one analytics-oriented programming language
- Proficient with data wrangling and analyzing large datasets in structured and unstructured formats
- Strong understanding of creating and managing API from data sources
- Ability to think from first principles, and manage/prioritize multiple projects
- Must be highly motivated and be able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Strong understanding of data models, structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
