Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
Preferred Location : Atlanta, GA.
The Business Information Consultant Senior /HEDIS Sr. Analystwill be The Business Information Consultant Senior / HEDIS Developer is responsible for coordinating and consolidating various impact analyses for management reporting..
How you will make an impact:
  • Establishes, improves, and optimizes the consolidating processes for forecast and month-end results
  • Consolidates and prepares executive summary reports for various business segments in the SBU for top management decision-making
  • Analyzes and designs solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs
  • May collaborate with businesses and technical areas to implement new or enhanced products
  • May require strong knowledge of products as well as our internal business models and data systems
  • May coordinate with external audits as appropriate
  • Acts as the central contact with internal departments and external auditors.
  • Understanding multiple data sources and formats, utilizes multiple data systems to analysis HEDIS results preferred.
  • Collaborate with management on a set of market contracts inclusive of benchmarking, IDSS review, PLD testing and submissions, and audit activities for both National and State Auditors.
  • Use tools to enable HEDIS measure deep dives and data quality review to improve HEDIS Ratings.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BS/BA degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration and minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
  • Experience providing leadership in evaluating financial performance of complex organizations strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and training and communication skills preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, organizational, planning, presentation and interpersonal skills strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and draw up plans to address issues/concerns strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of HEDIS specifications, medical record review process including the sample and chase creation, and data analysis of HEDIS rates preferred.
  • Experience training HEDIS Analyst staff on HEDIS Technical Specifications, HEDIS measure validations, HEDIS software, and working with NCQA on HEDIS measure questions preferred.
  • Experience testing HEDIS measures in a UAT environment to test HEDIS software, and ETL code preferred.
  • Ability to articulate and train analyst staff on complex HEDIS measures preferred.
  • Experience working with State and National HEDIS auditors preferred.
  • Experience working with NCQA, CMS, and State regulatory agencies preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $103,440 to $186,192.
Locations: California, Colorado, Nevada, New Jersey (Jersey City only), New York, Washington State
