Job Description:
The role of Business Analyst III (BA) at Cox Business is of great significance as it entails being a visionary and creative thought leader in the process and tools that underlie marketing and sales process automation. The BA will cater to the needs of boundary partners such as Marketing, Sales, Order Fulfillment, Engineering, Construction and Product functional leads by translating their needs into technical specifications within CRM/Service Delivery tools. In addition, the BA will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to generate innovative ideas, solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of the desired results of the business.
The BA will be expected to apply their mastery of existing and emerging technologies, best-practices, and processes and also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by providing tactical guidance and leadership support to teammates (whether they are contractors or employees) as required.
The BA is routinely called upon to apply mastery of existing and emerging technologies, best-practices, and processes. This role will also serve as a SME, provide tactical guidance, and support teammates (contractors or employees) in a leadership capacity as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the creation, refinement, and delegation of business requirements using agile or Business Process and Analysis (BPA) methodologies as determined by the Product Owner.
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of Salesforce automation solutions to improve business processes within the Sales Cloud environment.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies or systems to improve business processes and efficiency.
- Mentor and guide team members in best practices, technical skills
- Oversee the coordination and management of offshore development teams, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
- Develop and implement strategies for integrating generative AI and recommendation systems into our business operations. Focus on maximizing the impact of these technologies on efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide AI-driven recommendations and solutions. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units.
- Manage projects within the Salesforce Partners Portal, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Develop strategic plans for future enhancements and new project implementations.
- Capture agreed-upon business objectives and processes to define system requirements from internal customers, cross-functional team members, and external vendors.
- Manage scoring (approving) and claim processes while ensuring Use Cases are easily comprehended and traceable.
- Document the impact of system changes on end-users internal and external customers.
- Develop and document System Requirements (SRQs), process flows, and use cases.
- Update and assign SRQs to suitable Business Requirements within the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
- Conduct SRQ reviews with stakeholders to ensure completeness and adherence to business requirements.
- Review, test, and debug design plans in pre-production environments (e.g. QA and UAT) to ensure requirements are met, and RTM is maintained.
- Provide project status (e.g., progress, issues, dependencies, and risks).
- Participate in business strategy and portfolio discussions.
- Develop business knowledge from several functional areas.
- Share acquired knowledge with and mentor team members.
- Develop a relationship and trust among the team, key stakeholders, and senior management.
Qualifications
Required
- 10 years of experience in a related field
- OR Bachelor's degree + 4 years of experience
- OR MS degree + up to 2 years of experience
- OR PhD degree + 1 year of experience
