Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) group that supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. SDV is new vehicle intelligence platform that will underpin all our future innovations across a wide range of technological advancements, including EVs and expanded automated driving. This means that you can potentially put a fingerprint on the vehicles that drive down the road! This space is ripe with technical leadership opportunities for advanced technology development, as well as the ability to provide mentorship for new employees. You can flex your teamwork muscles as you will be tasked with working with several other areas of engineering, IT, and the business. As a Senior Azure Engineer in SDV, your responsibilities include understanding and implementation of the Azure ecosystem for SDV and Develop solution to suite that.
Our team is looking for a detailed and passionate Senior Azure Engineer to join us in our mission! As a Azure Engineer in SDV, your responsibilities include understanding and implementation of the use cases, software design execution and software verification (unit testing/ software integration testing, etc.). This individual will develop IaC Terraform code and Azure services for Software Defined Vehicles (SDV).
· 5+ years working with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS is also a plus)
· 5+ years working to architect, design, develop automation solutions in IaaS/PaaS
· Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing.
· Hands-on experience in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, YAML pipelines, Bicep,
· Hand-on experience in creating Grafana Dashboard for monitoring Azure Resources and KQL (Must)
· Strong working knowledge of Azure Event Grid, Azure Event Hub and MQTT ,Cosmos DB, Messaging services like Kafka or Event Hubs Azure Data Factory or Databricks
· Strong working experience in Kubernetes including K8s cluster, network, services, App Gateway(ingress) and Docker.
· Strong knowledge of Cloud networking i.e. VNET, Subnet, DNS, Load Balancer, including troubleshooting, diagnostics
· Strong working knowledge of Azure Security, Cryptography, Vault integration and lead Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates
· Strong working knowledge of DevOps using Jenkins/GitHub Actions, ARM Template, Bicep and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.) to setup new environment
· Ability to plan, test, and perform DevOps software upgrades for both development and production enterprise systems
· Advanced knowledge of Policy Management, Azure Identity Management and RBAC.
· Able to supervise, manage, and resolve Vulnerability.
Ability to resolve issues and complete tasks effectively in both a team environment and independently
Additional Description
· Education: BS or MS
· 5 years of professional experience in technology or a related field
· Experience in cloud/Edge Hosting of services and Apps. Interoperability of Apps, services between cloud and Data centers
· Experience with cloud Development using Azure.
· Experience with GIT/source code management, CI/CD development, open-source SW development/contributor
Hyrbid position: Will require coming into the office minimum 3 days a week.
