The Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing various agile methodologies that will help the process and program teams achieve on time product launch. This includes reviewing standardize work and creating systems that enable teams to understand their work at all levels. The use of different tools will be crucial such as value stream mapping, personas and mind mapping, and practical problem tools as examples. Work is performed in a team environment and integrates the interactions with the cross-functional team members, stakeholders, and customers. This role will be key to assist in planning, tracking, and communicating progress at all levels. The work for this position will perform in a hybrid environment where considerable amount of creativity, innovation and a high level of independent judgment will be exercised.
- Lead and coach the team on agile methodologies and scrum practices
- Ensure all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the project plan with responsibility and due dates
- Use persona mapping to identify stakeholders for projects and understand their deliverables
- Use practical problem tools to deep dive areas of opportunities to improve how people do work
- Assist product owner in developing project plans, schedule, and work breakdown structure for project [Standards & Open Issues]
- Lead / Support the development of burndown charts for the team to track improvements
- Lead the identification, documentation, and traceability of business requirements
- Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage conversation by focusing on scrum values of willingness, integrity, and respect in retrospectives
- Communicate project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to customers and leadership in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities within the organization to improve team capability through burndown and tracking methods
- Identify opportunities to train and grow the capability within the organization outside execution teams
- Lead/implement teamwork which may include taking on tasks to help remove roadblocks as needed
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 5+ years of post-grad industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- Experience in Project Management software [Project, Azure DevOps]
- Experience in problem solving [OpEx, DFSS, Design Thinking, practical problem solving]
- Travel availability up to 60% of time
What Will Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)
- Solid understanding of Scrum theory and implementations of framework and practices
- Ability to create and understand burndown/velocity charts [Scrum]
