This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).Qualifications:
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
- Served as an expert technical resource and leading authority on the planning and management of projects that have a significant impact on operations and programmatic initiatives relative to juvenile justice, child protection, and/or system reform strategies.
- Directed and managed significant elements or phases of projects related to juvenile justice and/or child welfare field.
- Provided expert advice and guidance on government and non-governmental programs and policies related to juvenile justice and/or child welfare field.
- Presented findings and recommendations related to juvenile justice and child protection at internal and external working groups, as well as national seminars or symposia.
- J.D. degree preferred, but not required.
Technical Qualifications:
Applicants who meet the basic entry and minimum qualification requirements, as described above, will be further evaluated on the following technical qualifications:
