Purpose
Administrative support to Midwest Institutional Trust Company involving clerical and organizational tasks.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities to be performed with or without accommodation
- Support leadership team with team communication and meetings
- Coordinate internal and external client events/functions
- Sorting and disbursing mail
- Facilitate procurement of office supplies
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing or coordinating preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Develops and maintains effective interpersonal relationships and timely communications with internal business partners, clients, and/or third party contactors.
- Assist with Committee/team meeting materials

- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
- Provide administrative support on assigned and special projects, as well as general marketing and office support.
Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses required to perform essential functions
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- 3 years of administrative assistant experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands required to perform essential functions
- Moderate noise (business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic)
- Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone
- Specific vision abilities include close vision requirements due to computer work
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- 3 years of office administration or general banking experience
- Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
