Mission:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant who is passionate about the care and support of others and driven to provide their team with the best finance outputs possible. In this role, your primary focus will be working on the day-to-day activities with the Director of Finance; this includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, and cash flow management. You will be collaborating with other key stakeholders and leaders and need to pay meticulous attention to important details. You will drive the Finance team with process improvements and suggestions. You will create and nurture ongoing relationships with Ascent stewards, customers, and guests of Ascent, demonstrating our core values in every interaction. Responsibilities:

This role is primarily responsible for the management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and firm expenses. Accounts receivable includes customer invoicing and collections. Accounts payable includes vendor invoice processing and management. Firm expense management includes credit card expense entry and cross-referencing with expense reports. Ownership of these areas is expected; Consistent attention to detail and independent motivation is necessary. The role will also work with the Director of Finance to close our books monthly, which requires an overall understanding of business accounting. Growth opportunities for a fast learner are abundant in this role as we grow our team.

Qualifications:

· 5-7 years accounting experience

· Experience with Workday is required

· Familiarity working in a small company

· Fast learner, inquisitive and independently motivated

· Accounts Receivable Management

· Accounts Payable Management

· Expense Reporting Management

· Credit Card Management

· Customer Invoicing

· Monthly books closing / processing

· Payroll understanding

Preferred Abilities:

· Cost Accounting

· Sales tax experience

· 1099 experience

· Workday custom and financial reporting experience

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
