Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and constant development.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department specific to the Oil and Gas sector.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize accounting processes and systems.
- Utilize Bolo to its fullest potential, enhancing our financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and financial planning.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and financial and tax reporting rules.
- At least ten years of accounting experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Proficiency in Bolo accounting software is a must.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
