Description/Job Summary

• The Ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to month end close and financial statement preparation
• Reporting directly to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be organized, analytical and will be the leader of the accounting team
• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Lead the month-end close
• Prepare all financial statements & reports for Senior Management team
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and reports for senior management team
• Other special projects as assigned
• Manage the company’s accounting operations, including establishing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, and controls

Required Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or advanced Degree in Accounting
• 5 Years of Professional Accounting Experience
• CPA preferred
• Working knowledge of Vista software is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong Working Knowledge of GAAP and ability to perform technical accounting research
• Comprehensive knowledge of month-end and year-end close activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
