Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who is culture-driven and looking for opportunities for learning and advancement. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, the Senior Accountant is responsible for accounting for our reseller activity under strategic partnership agreements. These responsibilities also include monthly reconciliations of billing, revenue, and expense related to reseller activity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Track and analyze billing, revenue, expense and balance sheet transactions around the activity related to our reseller partner activity
• Reconcile cost from each reseller partner to the associated billing to Alkami clients
• Record deferrable costs in accordance with ASC 606 and maintain related run-out schedules related to these deferred costs
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and record related journal entries
• Maintain gross margin analysis workpapers for each reseller partner, report results/findings, and drive issues to resolution
• Assess principal vs. agent status in accordance with ASC 606 for each reseller partner and update documentation quarterly
• Support the Senior Manager of Accounting with special projects and process improvements as needed
• Support Senior Manager of Accounting with audit requests

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of accounting experience
• CPA or CPA eligible
• Strong knowledge and use of basic accounting principles, practices, procedures, and internal controls accounting
• Strong skills in the maintenance and control of appropriate data collection and record keeping systems
• Strong skills in the Microsoft suite; strong proficiency in Excel including pivot tables; NetSuite and Concur experience a plus
• Excellent financial and analytical abilities
