Job description
Responsibilities:
- Participate in projects driven by department and/or company initiatives, including systems/process improvements
- Support capital spending budget process
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting
- Support standard cost update processes and validation of costs for multi-organization set up
- Manage the accounting for leases, utilizing lease software and coordinating with global team
- Support interim and year end audits, coordinating requests with external auditors
- Consolidation and review of foreign subsidiaries
- Preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules, including impact of FX fluctuations
- Review of various general ledger accounts for accuracy, completeness, and trends
- Margin and cost of materials analysis
- Assign monthly variances to team members for review and prepare collaborative documentation file
- Monthly accrual journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation/review
Requirements:
- Knowledge of inventory/manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of other Microsoft products such as Teams, SharePoint, PowerBI, and PowerPivot
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and effective collaboration skills
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Knowledge of GAAP
- BS degree in Accounting, with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Desired:
- International accounting experience a plus
- Experience with Oracle and/or other large ERP systems preferred
- CPA preferred
