SalaryReportingdirectly to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will beresponsible for assisting in the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and monthly financial statement preparation process. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for Fixed Assets, Revenue, Accruals, Commissions, and other ad hoc reports.
Job Duties:
- Monthly sub-ledger and ledger closings
- Maintaining fixed asset sub-ledger and schedules of all company capital assets
- Maintaining revenue schedules
- Compiling monthly accruals
- Performs various internal audits and assists with preparation of annual audits
- Prepares monthly account reconciliations
- Assists with tax audits and filings
- Assists with annual budget preparation
- Research accounting guidance, tax rules and compliance issues
Required Technical and Professional experience:
The successful candidate will possess any combination of training and experience up to and including a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree and CPA preferred; minimum 4+ years accounting/audit, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and a combination of public and corporate accounting experience preferred.
