Join Aprio's Cost Segregationteam and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Associate/Experienced Associate or Associate to join their dynamic team.
This position is for a new internal practice with strong growth potential for the Cost Segregation professional looking to grow professionally as the practice grows.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive fixed asset engagements including Cost Segregation and fixed asset review studies
- Learn to research issues related to Cost Segregation and fixed asset matters and be able to articulate or prepare documentation related to such matters
- Develop industry expertise to help yourself become help an indelible member of the Cost Segregation practice
- Help train, monitor, and develop staff as the department grows
- This is a remote opportunity, but only candidates that reside near an Aprio office will be considered
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field required.
- 1+ years of work experience within a Cost Segregation practice or a related field such as building inspection or appraisals, engineering related work, architecture, or building construction positions
- Proficient in Adobe Pro DC, MS products including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and the ability to learn new software as needed.
- Knowledge of RS Means and Marshall and Swift
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and timely
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Potential travel 20%-30%
