JOB SUMMARY:
This Senior Accountant role are to own and manage assigned financial processes and procedures of the company to ensure the financial statements are prepared timely and accurately. support the timely and accurate generation of financial information through the preparation of journal entries, financial statement analysis, and detailed account reconciliations. The position requires a strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, self-management and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strict adherence to monthly, quarterly and annual financial close schedule.
Timely monthly balance sheet account reconciliations with back up and documentation needed for Audit.
Journal entry preparation for all aspects of financial reporting, including treasury functions, fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll and employee benefits, intangibles, liabilities accruals, equity, leasing functions, and allocations.
Prepare sales and use tax as well as personal property tax returns.
Preparation of financial statements and metrics.
Financial Analysis as needed.
Ability to examine processes, policies, and problems and offer solutions.
Ability to work in a team environment with an overall positive attitude of yourself, your team members, and the company.
Other duties, projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/BA Accounting Degree
Prefer 3-5 years overall accounting experience
Strong proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, index/match functions), FAS, and general ledger software.
Proficient in financial statement preparation, including balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and general ledger.
Work with multi-location entities is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent written as well as oral communication skills.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and a strong working knowledge of corporate processes and procedures.
Ability to adapt to new technologies, advance accounting techniques, company operating systems and be comfortable with a changing environment.
