Overview:
We are seeking an accounting professional who has comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, and working knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax requirements. This position is integral to the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and management reports used in the operation of our business. The Senior Accountant will maintain company accounts for Therapeutic Associates and its related entities, and work with other staff members in the accounting team to provide accurate and complete financial information necessary to make business decisions. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and will be able to assist, support and perform duties if needed in A/P, A/R and Payroll functions.
The ideal candidate will be a lifelong learner and strong collaborator. They must be a self-starter willing to jump in where needed, while maintaining accounting principles, following company policy and establishing processes where necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to self-direct and prioritize responsibilities as appropriate
* Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to effectively and clearly communicate at all levels within the organization
* Team building/Interpersonal Skills
* Work prioritization/flexibility/adaptability
* Highly proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook required
Education and Experience:
* Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business and/or Finance required
* Minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare, service industry, or public accounting environment
* Experience in corporate level accounting in a multi-unit organization is required
* Demonstrated experience processing or working with payroll systems, understanding of A/P, A/R, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements and analysis
* Preference given to candidates with software experience with Dayforce Human Capital Management System, Great Plains/Dynamics and Concur
