We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Controller to join our team. As an Assistant Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our organization and provide key contributions to the CFO.
Key contributions will include
- Actively reviewing and advising on financial/accounting processes
- Ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies and provide solutions
- Cost of goods sold analysis and pricing reviews across all product lines
- Collaboration with senior management team including product managers, project manager, and team managers
- Prepare reports and summaries for supervisors and team
- Post to the General Ledger, trial balance, adjustments, journal entries.
- Oversee and process vendor invoices
- Month end GL reconciliations and preparation of financial statements
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly sales/use tax returns for multiple states
- Quality system internal audits
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of related accounting experience such as end of month, payroll, quarter reports, AP, AR, reconciliation of accounts, invoicing, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in use of Excel
