This position has a compensation range of $82,870 to $124,305 in Seattle.

As an Accounting Analyst, your function will be to provide crucial support to the Controller and Senior Management at Saltchuk Aviation. You will be responsible for accessing our accounting systems to pull data and prepare a diverse range of external financial reports, identify outliers and trends, and ensure compliance.

• Support the development and execution of reports for required external reporting, demonstrating ERP databases and accounting systems.
• We develop and deliver reports to business leaders, ensuring the integrity of documents and results.
• Condense large quantities of data and analytic results into coherent, clear, and reports and presentations.
• Use SAP and Business Objects to develop valuable reporting tools that improve financial insights.
• To gain an understanding of the financial operations we provide for valuable insights and recommendations.
• Continuously critically review and evaluate reporting processes to streamline and automate procedures, improving efficiency and accuracy.
• We review accounting systems for user roles and access (SAP, TRAX, JetStream, Concur) to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of Vendor Master File control procedures to maintain data integrity.
• Prepare quarterly Treasury Certification to align with regulatory requirements.
• Perform the quarterly review of the Airway Bill exception management process to minimize errors and discrepancies.
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual preparation of external reports to meet reporting obligations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience in data reporting or a related field; experience in the Aviation/Transportation industry is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; knowledge of SAP and Power BI will be helpful.
• Possesses strong and meticulous analytical and thinking skills to ensure accurate reporting while meeting suspense in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative teammate who excels in building strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
• A desire to take a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach, working with the team to produce high-quality work products, including delving into invoice-level data.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, organizational, and teamwork skills.

• Most work is performed in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation.
