Job Description
The Senior Accountant will ensure the organization's complete and systematic accounting records by performing complex clerical and bookkeeping tasks and applying accepted policies and procedures in preparing and maintaining accounting records and other financial activities.

- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensures the accuracy of the company’s financial position by managing and reconciling hard goods and gas & cylinder inventory.
- Maintains and updates gas pricing based on market conditions and negotiated contracts.
- Analyzes and calculates gas inventory accounts monthly.
- Interacts and assists auditors at year-end, including preparing schedules and providing supporting documents.
- Responsible for coordinating the year-end physical inventory for hard goods, cylinders, and gas.
- Monitor budget variances, provide financial and procedural reporting and analysis of department funds and fiscal activities (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly), and develop ad-hoc reporting for key business initiatives, as requested.
- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Five years of related experience is required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred, not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of policies and procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Experience in Accounting System TIMS CU.
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel
