Position Title: Senior Account Manager

Reports To: Maintenance Division Manager
Pay: $25.00 to $32.00
Department: Projects
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Maintenance Division Manager in organizing and building the landscape maintenance department in such a way that the contracted properties are being maintained according to industry and company standards while selling new work to keep revenue streams open.
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Property checks and reporting
- Work with clients to sell enhancement projects
- Identifies and reports irrigation issues
- Identifies and reports weed and disease issues
- Meets with clients
- Snow Removal
- Provide support to foreman and crew when necessary
- Crew Building/training/motivating/scheduling
- Problem solving
- Equipment operation
- Customer service
- Notify appropriate parties immediately of any safety infractions, concerns, problems or unsafe activities
Additional Duties:
- Demonstrate the ability to contribute to the vision and mission of the organization, act as a company steward of resources, interact effectively as a team member, and work in a self-directed and dependable manner.
- Other duties as assigned from Division Manager
Job Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Forestry, Natural Resources, Construction Management or related fields preferred. Or a Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field.
- Must have a valid driver license and the ability to operate company vehicles.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Understands basic sales concepts
- Understands basic irrigation components and systems
- Is familiar with common trees, plants, and turf
- Comfortable on a computer using the Office Suite
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent attendance punctuality, dependability, and reliability
- Pleasant and courteous attitude
- Ability to work independently and make independent judgments which impact the company and customers
- Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to solve standard problems and seek guidance on complex problems
