Secure Care Trainer/Advisor - Rn Strongly Preferred

We have an amazing opportunity for a Secure Care Trainer/Advisor to be located in or near the Waco area!  This position will require extensive travel throughout East Texas.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
• Must be experienced in Dementia Care, Alzheimer’s Care, Secured Unit Care, and associated training requirements.
• Must be experienced in Secured unit Activities programming.
• Must be willing to become Certified as a PAC Trainer, Coach, and Champion Course Teacher.
• Excellent creative and communication skills.
• Ability to organize, document, and implement detailed programs.
• Outstanding people skills with elevated level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and handicapped people.
• Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Train staff using the materials and resources of the SecureCare program, implementing and promoting policies, procedures, and guidelines for the program.
• Work closely with the SecureCare team members that manage facilities to provide oversight, training, and facility assistance.
• Assist facility with hire decisions for the SecureCare team, providing training and mentoring on an on-going basis.
• Will need to travel approximately 50% of working schedule. Will be expected to physically visit each managed facility at least twice a year.
• Conduct scheduled TEAMS calls with SecureCare team to provide training and support.
• Conduct scheduled area meetings in local markets to provide training and support.
