Role Of Second Assistant
- Works with the Golf Course Superintendent and other department heads to plan daily maintenance activities.
- Develop strong working relationships with the departments throughout club to enhance the overall member experience
- Data Collection
- Tournament Preparation
- Assist in routine maintenance, irrigation repair, tournaments, and special projects as directed.
- Operate the golf course irrigation system, and record keeping of the water usage
- Maintain accurate records related to fertilizer and chemical applications
- Directly supervise department employees, including training, work assignments, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor the daily progress of employees and adjust tasks as needed for efficient time management.
- Meet with department head to plan and discuss weekly plans.
- Assists in golf course preparation during seasonal months including mowing, spraying, and course set-up.
- Responsible for the completion of the cultural practices schedule during the summer months.
- Assists in the completion of projects on the Golf Course, Grounds, and clubhouse areas, and oversees contractors during summer projects.

- Prefer at least 4 years. of experience in golf course maintenance, turf and grounds maintenance, or equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
