At Bonita Bay Club, we're looking for a dedicated professional to join our prestigious team as a full-time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

We also offer the privilege of using club amenities! Employees can play golf, play tennis, and use our fitness room on a space-available basis. During lunch and dinner breaks, employees are even offered a free meal in our employee break room.

WORK SCHEDULE:

From Monday to Thursday, you'll be immersed in the beauty of the course from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Fridays offer a shorter day, wrapping up at noon, giving you a head start on the weekend. Every other weekend, you'll rise with the sun on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT:

As the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, you'll orchestrate the daily maintenance activities with precision and efficiency, ensuring the impeccable condition of our private upscale course. Your day involves leading a dedicated team, implementing established maintenance standards, and supervising the safety and security of our maintenance facility. It's not just a job; it's a commitment to creating a golfing paradise that resonates with excellence.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS AN ASSISTANT GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT:

• A bachelor's degree, associate of science degree, or a certificate in Horticulture
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and efficiently utilize industry-specific technology such as Rain Bird Cirrus, Windows, Word, and Excel
• A working knowledge of the game of golf, Golf Course-related equipment, computerized Golf Course irrigation systems, and familiarity with IPM systems
• Knowledge of private club operations, legal liability, and employee relations
• A valid Florida driver's license

Ideal applicants either possess or can obtain within the first six months of employment a current State of Florida Ornamental and Turf Restricted Use Pesticide License.
