The Golf Course Clubhouse Worker supports the operations of the Mendota Heights Par 3 Golf Course. Responsibilities include opening and closing the course, completing daily sales transactions and general maintenance of the clubhouse and patio areas.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Opens and closes Golf Course, as scheduled.
- Processes daily sales transactions, collects greens fees, sells concessions, closes out/reconciles daily sales.
- Collects money and processes credit card transactions.
- Meets and greets customers in a positive and courteous manner, provides course information, makes tee time and equipment reservations in person and over the phone.
- Performs daily light maintenance of the clubhouse and grounds.
- Assists with the coordination of tournaments, leagues and other promotional golf activities.
- Monitors course play and enforces course policies, rules and procedures.
- Performs other related functions, as apparent or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and interact with the public in a positive and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions according to established procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner with staff and customers.
- Ability to handle cash and operate cash register.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 16 years of age and older.
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and good driving record.
- Previous golf experience and knowledge of the game of golf is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills, required.
- Reliable and regular attendance during scheduled work hours, required.
