School Social Worker - January 2024 start!

AnthroMed Education is a local organization dedicated to partnering with Social Work professionals in the educational field.  AnthroMed Education is thrilled to provide dedicated Social Work Support by our Team Manager who holds and LCSW and has been in the school-based field for years.  We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker who is committed to making an impact at a local K-5th grade school focused on the educational success of each student.  The position is scheduled through the end of the school year.

• Compensation Range: $45.00-$62.00 per hour based on previous school-based experience
• Hours: 8:00am-3:15pm Mon-Fri

School Social Worker Position Description: 

• Support a caseload of approximately 35-40 students
• Work with 504 students
• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams to identify students in need of special education
• Participate in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs
• Complete relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Illinois PEL with endorsement in Social Work
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred
