Job Summary:
The SEL Specialist for the Summer Program shall develop and maintain an educational program that teaches students social emotional competencies as well as consult with teachers, program leaders, other summer staff and families to design appropriate student support plans. The SEL Specialist for the Summer Program reports directly to the to the Student Activities Director.
Qualifications:
- Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator Licensure appropriate to assignment including an endorsement in school social work, school psychology, or school counseling.
Terms of Employment
This is a temporary and seasonal position consisting of 4 to 5 weeks of employment plus training as outlined below and paid an hourly rate of $40.00.
Work hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., including a 30 minute unpaid lunch (7.5 paid hours per day).
