We are seeking a part-time Social Worker (MSW/LSW or LCP) to join our team! Position can lead to full-time employment. Candidate will have experience working with children; experience with family counseling and behavior counseling preferred. Supervision for clinical hours provided as part of job benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out behavioral strategies for children under supervision of LCSW;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (OT/ST/BCBA) to provide comprehensive but individually tailored strategies for best practice;
- Research local resources for at-risk families or families with Medicaid;
- Communicate client updates to all relevant parties;
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs, as needed;
- Maintain accurate client documentation.
- Previous experience working with children and behavioral therapy preferred;
- Previous experience in social work and counseling;
- Compassionate and caring demeanor;
- Ability to build rapport with clients;
- Ability to build collaborative teamwork with coworkers;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
