Work Hours: Full Time up to 37.5 hours per week

Caseload: Elementary School (15-18 students)

Our team is looking to expand! Right now, we are seeking a full-time School Social Worker to work at our amazing partner school near Palos Heights, Illinois. In this position, the Social Worker will be working with a caseload of K-5th grade kiddos.

The position roles would include:

· Provides school social work services to students who are at-risk for school failure and/or are demonstrating social/emotional/behavioral problems within the school setting.

· Provides direct and indirect school social work services as a related service in support of special education.

· Acts as a liaison between the home, school, and community providers to access, mobilize and coordinate services.

· Provides crisis intervention services as needed.

· Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as apparent or assigned.

• A Master's degree in social work.
  
• LSW or LCSW REQUIRED.
  
• Must hold a PEL Certification with a Social Worker endorsement (must have in hand)
