THE OPPORTUNITY
To put it simply, you will play an integral role on the School Operations team, by supporting the expansion of schools, tracking and processing invoices for the department budget, and supporting district software maintenance. An excellent Program Manager possesses excellent project management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and is a continuous learner.
THE ROLE
- Managing year 0 DCOs and provide support to the campus operations teams in reaching milestones that ensure campuses launches successfully and on time;
- Representing School Operations in the new school launch working group, ensuring accountability of operations tasks to ensure a successful new school launch.
- Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during the new school launch, and proposing solutions to ensure their resolution;
- Serving as the primary event planner for the logistical planning and execution of Content Day, Director of Campus Operations meetings, and the annual DCO Retreat;
- Developing campus systems and processes for campus operations software and vendor management;
- Creating and providing onboarding resources and trainings for campus operations staff;
- Maintaining a constant communication channel between the Home Office and campus operations stakeholders that ensures alignment with actions and progress, and identifies areas of need;
- Creating project plans and agendas describing the tasks, timelines, and resources needed to accomplish School Operations projects, objectives and goals;
- Managing the School Operations SharePoint site;
- Managing invoices and tracking budget expenditures for the School Operations department;
- Additional duties as assigned.
THE MUST HAVES
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- An effective communicator who is able to convey ideas, expectations, and information to team members and stakeholders
- Experience facilitating trainings and leading large projects/initiatives
- Ability to make data driven decisions, create Excel spreadsheets to monitor progress and make assumptions based on trends
- Identification and mitigation of potential risks before they negatively impact School Operations metrics
- Maintain project momentum by adapting plans and strategies
- Make informed budgetary decisions to ensure spending stays within budget
- The ability to identify and solve problems quickly

- Compensation – This position is an exempt, salaried position; offers commensurate with experience.
- Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
