Scheduling Coordinator

Duties:
- Manage and coordinate the scheduling of appointments for a busy dental office
- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service at the front desk
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed
- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix to schedule and update appointments
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and minimize wait times
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information as needed
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Skills:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office setting
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external contacts
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
