Job Description
This is a full-time position. Pay ranges from $18.77/hr to $28.15/hr (depending on experience).
SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for preparing, analyzing, editing, and managing associate schedules in order to ensure efficient and effective use of Life EMS resources to meet our customers and community’s needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for processing daily scheduling requests such as time off requests/removals, shift pickups, and shift swaps
- Entering new hire pre-approved time off into scheduling system
- Assist with creating and filling associate schedules for all Life EMS divisions
- Communicate with supervisors and directors on changes, updates or any issues with their division’s schedule
- Evaluate and process daily associate punches to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Process and apply associate tardies
- Act as a backup for creating and filling additional hours needed for standbys or special events
- Assist in building and analyzing shift bids for all divisions in the scheduling software system
- Monitor and respond to email inquiries to the scheduling@lifeems.com account
- Prepare reports as requested by leadership
- Assist with tracking and monitoring attendance related items
- Assist Associate Services as directed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong attention to detail with data analysis and process resolution capabilities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to make decisions and effectively communicate those decisions with associates, directors and supervisors
- Computer proficiency: MS Office programs, 10-key, and ability to learn workplace specific software
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Associates Degree preferred
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
