Sap Functional Analyst

Our client, a top-tier Management and Strategy consulting firm is seeking a qualified SAP Functional Analystfor a top tier US Bank. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysis and design for Spend & Third Party Management Technology initiatives for the SAP Fieldglass application. Spend Management Technology supports the Re-Engineering and Expense Mgmt. businesses which are responsible for the Firm's sourcing, contracts, procurement, invoicing, accounts payable and third part risk functions. Our Fieldglass application supports the consultant on-boarding, time tracking and payment for our contingent workers. There is a new initiative to onboard Fieldglass SOW module which will manage Fixed price contracts & invoicing. Analyst will be responsible for doing functional analysis around integrations with Morgan Stanley systems. Analyst will be working with the Product owner & Fieldglass partners to document fit-gap analysis with current implementation, document data flow, coordinate with downstream and upstream systems for any impact/changes.
Requirements & Qualifications:

• Conduct analysis of business issues and challenges
• Work with the product owners and business stakeholders to capture requirements during backlog grooming
• Analyze, facilitate, model, and organize information to reconcile conflicts, elicit requirements and distinguish solution ideas from business needs
• Create/ Groom user stories with detailed specifications; include mock-ups, workflows, data mapping and interface specifications where applicable
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients across all levels of the organization
• Provide continuous feedback and assist with improvement of internal process and procedures
• Complete any required data analysis to ensure reporting and interface changes can be easily taken up by our Data and Integration squad
• Create clear polished presentations to be used to present solution options to the business
• Identify, document, mitigate and communicate key risks and issues are to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner
• Work with product teams in defining acceptance criteria and coordinating acceptance tests and issue resolution
• Perform smoke testing and other types of tests to determine completeness of requirements.
• Own user story quality. Collaborate with subject matter experts, sponsors, developers, and QA to reduce potential gaps in requirements and see the effort to completion
• 3+ years in IT business analysis experience with overall 9+ years of IT development experience
• 3+ years hands on experience in an Agile environment
• Hands on experience with SAP Fieldglass SOW module a plus
• Experience with Fieldglass connectors and reporting a plus
• SQL/data querying skills
• Experience writing user stories, inclusive of field definitions and associated
• Experience with data and system flow analysis with proficiency using Visio
• Polished oral and written presentation skills including graphic illustrations
