Job Description
About the Role
This position is responsible for being partners with business units (BU's) and operating departments on a project basis to provide business and system support. Experience with functional and technical experience in required Oracle Applications 11i or R12 (ALL modules: PLM, PO, WIP, BOM, PLM, MRP, Engineering, Inventory, Cost Management, Order Management, and ASCP).
Responsibilities
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the business and technical functions of assigned systems
- Define, recommend, and implement solutions to customer problems and requests
- Assume responsibility for the maintenance and enhancement of assigned systems
- Prepare Statement of Works and project plans
- Manage projects according to the project plan
- Functional management of staff resources
- Hold regular status meetings and communicate project status
Qualifications
- Must have advanced knowledge and experience with SQL and PL/SQL
- Must have advanced knowledge and experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports (Version 11i or R12)
- Must have knowledge of TOAD, SQL*Loader and UNIX/LINUX
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education & Experience
-BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1 3 years of experience with Oracle Applications 11i or R12 (Inventory, Cost, PLM, PO, WIP, BOM, PLM, OM, MRP, Engineering)
-Set up and admin experience is a plus
Travel
- 10% Overall
- May be significantly higher during duration of a project
