Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sample Room Clerk to join our team. The Sample Room Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders, picking and packing products, and preparing shipments for delivery. Ultimately, you will work with a small group in the warehouse to ensure items are retrieved, organized, and shipped in a timely manner. As well as maintaining a clean, safe work environment in the warehouse/Sample Room.
What you'll do
- Receive Design Consultant orders and transfer to Manufacturing facility
- Receive and sort returned samples
- Use appropriate equipment to carry out tasks in a safe manner
- Update and prepare Samples & Kits for Design Consultants
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Clean and assemble Sample Books & Decks
- Pick and pack sampling & part orders
- Restock samples & parts inventory bins with overstock
- Label and count cut samples
- Receive, track and log all shipments
Who you are
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of Sample Room or stock room experience a plus
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
- Achieve results with accuracy and precision
