Job Summary:
Aerospace Stock Room Clerk, job description might include the following responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials meet quality standards and are properly documented.
- Organizational Skills: Keep the Stock Room organized and orderly, making it easy to locate items quickly and efficiently.
- Communication: Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material requests and communicate any stock issues or discrepancies.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain Stock Room equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain records and reports of Stock Room activities, such as inventory counts and stock movements.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other Stock Room Clerks and department personnel to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve stock-related issues, such as discrepancies in inventory counts or damaged items.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures related to Stock Room operations, including security measures and inventory control.
This job requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
